Clevedon Community Bookshop Grants

CCBS has been awarding grants since 2022. In that time we have helped many local community groups.

Here is what some of these groups have to say!

Dear Mr Harriott
We are absolutely delighted, and so very grateful, to hear the wonderful news that we have been successful in securing a book grant from Clevedon Community Bookshop.
Thank you so much for your kindness.
Our staff team are so excited to be able to purchase lots of lovely new books for our children.
Please find attached our completed form.
We will be advertising the donation via our school newsletter and during our up-and-coming World Book Day celebrations!
Best wishes,
Stacy Shopland
Deputy Headteacher

Dear Lyn
The Club is really pleased that the CCBC Board has kindly awarded us a grant of £350 for our proposed Artist in Residence project.
I attach the Acceptance Form duly completed.
We very much look forward to working with you on this project enhancing the local profile of the CCBC and CAC. Thank you for your offer of any help and support we may need with the project. And, similarly, if there is any way we can help the CCBC, please don't hesitate to ask.
Best wishes

Dear Lyn
We thank you again for giving us a grant towards planting trees at Middle Path. We held the day on Saturday March 5th and had lots of suppor from members of Sustainable Clevedon and from neighbours that live close to the area of land that was planted.
I'm attaching our completed acceptance form, a copy of the invoice for the fruit trees that were purchased from Chew Valley Trees and a poster that we will be displaying at the Farmers' Market at the end of the month. We have also sent an article to the North Somerset Times in which we acknowledge your grant.
With thanks again,
Sally King

Dear Lyn,
Thank you for confirming that the Clevedon Community Bookshop Co-operative (CCBC) have approved a grant of £492.10 to purchase thirty-eight copies of the Air Cadet Pocket Book by John Harris (latest edition 2022).
We are now able to provide a copy of this excellent resource to every Cadet at the Clevedon 1446 Squadron. This is great news!
On behalf of the 1446 (Clevedon) ATC Civilian Committee and the Squadron I would like to thank you for this very generous grant that will be used to purchase the Air Cadet Pocket Books.  The books will run alongside the training programmes run at the Squadron and will serve as a invaluable reference guide for all the Cadets.
